Susan St. George has been painting in watercolor since her graduation from George Mason University in 1981. Her fine art degree was put aside to take on a "real job". She worked for Blue Cross in Richmond, VA and Geico in Friendship Heights, MD as a systems programmer. In the late 90's she began painting again on a regular basis.

Until 2010 getting involved in the DC local art scene was her top priority. She donated prints to local schools for their galas and silent auctions. Susan also participated in art and craft shows.

In 2011 she worked for Cave Communications. At this company she was able to combine her love for art and talent for computers by maintaining two online magazines: The Washington Home and Garden and The New York Home and Garden. Getting her feet wet was not enough so she returned to college to study object oriented computer science at St. Mary's College which involved JAVA programming. She is currently living on St. George Island in southern Maryland and teaches watercolor classes.
